Automation - Factories make products in volume, at the lowest cost, with inspected raw materials, and constant quality controls.
Very few American homes have any incoming raw material tests; components assembled in a jig, or are continuously inspected and documented in each step of building. Most have their raw materials dumped on site without inspection gathering moisture, mildew, mold and rust. Why aren’t homes made in a factory to take advantage of lowest cost, constant monitoring, inspections, and strict quality controls? We can do better in a semi-automated CBS panel plant.
